One Woman Killed And Another Injured In Anniston Collision

(Anniston, AL, October 29, 2021) — In the early morning of Thursday October 28, 2021, two vehicles collided near Anniston, Alabama on US Highway 431 killing a 23-year-old woman. The collision occurred near the 240 mile marker five miles outside of Anniston. Annagail L. Rowe of Leesburg was tragically killed when her 2016 Ford Fiesta collided head on with a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 25-year-old Orlando J. Carmichael. Rowe was pronounced dead at the scene and Carmichael was transported to the hospital with injuries. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating the crash. Two Vehicle Crash in Henry County, AL Kills Young Man

(Abbeville, Alabama, October 27, 2021)–Douglas Thorton Brown, a 26 year old man from Montgomery, Alabama, tragically died in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday October 24, 2021 around 6:54 PM in Henry County, Alabama. The collision occurred when a 2019 Ford Ranger driven by Thorton Lee Warmack, 83, of Clopton, Alabama struck the rear end of a 2002 Honda Rancher ATV driven by Brown. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency aka the Alabama State Troopers are still investigating. According to the state troopers, Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. Atmore Man Dead After Head On Collision With Semi-Truck

(Atmore, Alabama, October 27, 2021)–Robert Marion Hadley, from Atmore, AL, tragically died in a head on collision with a semi-truck on Monday October 25, 2021 around 10:00 AM. The collision occurred in Atmore on Highway 21 north of Walmart. Hadley’s 2010 Ford F150 tragically collided head on with a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Wendell L. Nelson, also from Atmore. Two Women Killed in Gadsden, AL Car Crash

(Gadsden, Alabama, October 26, 2021)–Two women tragically died in a two vehicle car wreck in Gadsden, Alabama on Saturday October 23, 2021 around 1:00 AM. The collision occurred on U.S. Highway 411 near Moragne Avenue involving a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze and a 2016 Corvette. Towanna Williams and Monica Garrett, both from Gadsden, AL, were pronounced dead at the scene. Williams and Garrett were in the same vehicle. Trenton J. Sanders Dies in Elba Car Accident

(Coffee County, AL, October 24, 2021) — Trenton Sanders of Elba died after a car accident on Alabama 87 on Sunday morning.  Trenton Sanders, who was 20 years old, died after his Chevy Malibu crossed the highway’s center line. The vehicle left the road and hit multiple trees. Officers pronounced Trenton Sanders dead at the car accident scene. The accident happened about 14 miles north of Elba. Four People Killed in Mobile, AL Fatal Car Accident

(Mobile, AL, October 9, 2021) — A crash in southern Alabama killed four people last Saturday morning. The Mobile car accident occurred on Highway 98 around 4:00 AM. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to the collision and later confirmed that four people died: two men, one woman, and a three-year-old child. These individuals were identified as Wilmer Earl Bettis, Alla Marie Bettis, and Scott Hunter Lavender. The child was not named. Lavender was driving a Ford pickup truck on Highway 98 when he crossed the center line and crashed into the oncoming Ford Expedition driven by Willmer Bettis. Both vehicles caught fire due to the collision. The authorities have not released any more information about this Mobile, AL fatal car accident, but the ALEA continues to investigate it. Two Killed in Fultondale, AL Car Wreck

(Birmingham, AL, October 5, 2021) — Tragically, at 8 AM on October 5, 2021, two drivers in Fultondale were killed in a fatal car accident.  Driver Chelsea Symone Holmes of Birmingham, age 29, died at the scene of the accident. The other driver, 77-year-old Jo Ann D. Startley of Blountsville, passed away shortly after arriving at UAB Hospital.  The head-on collision occurred at the intersection of Carson Road and Indian Valley Road in Fultondale. Authorities say that Holmes’ Toyota Camry struck Startley’s Chevy Tahoe. Both vehicles carried passengers. Despite the severity of the accident, both passengers initially appear to have survived the accident. An adult passenger riding in Startley’s vehicle was also transported to UAB Hospital. Holmes’ child, a four-year-old, was taken to Children’s Hospital of Alabama, with non-threatening injuries.   The cause of the Fultondale fatal accident is still under investigation.   Sources: CBS 42

70-Year-Old Eastaboga, AL Woman Killed in Car Accident

(Talladega County, AL, October 4, 2021) — A 70-year-old woman died in an accident involving two vehicles on Monday afternoon. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the accident happened at around 12:18 PM.  Linda Pinkston, 70, was driving on Priebes Mill Road in her 2015 Toyota Camry. She then crashed head-on with a 2012 Dodge Avenger driven by 40-year-old Timothy Harwell of Eastaboga. First responders pronounced her dead at the scene of the crash. Woman Struck by Oncoming Vehicle in Albertville Dog Rescue

(Albertville, AL, October 4, 2021) — A woman died when she was trying to rescue a stray dog and was hit by a car on Monday. The Albertville Police Department shared that the woman, Christina Nicole Green, was a passenger in a northbound vehicle on Highway 431. Around 8:00 PM, Green saw a stray dog in the road. After her vehicle stopped, she got out to attempt to help the dog reach the side of the road safely. Green crossed the northbound lanes successfully, but she was struck by an oncoming Chevy truck when she stepped onto the southbound lanes of the highway.  Green died at the scene of the crash. She was 31 years old.  The police reported no other injuries and continue to investigate this crash involving the woman killed in Albertville, AL dog rescue. Sources: WKRG
