(Birmingham, AL, Feb. 15, 2021) — A semi-truck driver was ejected from the cab when his truck slid off I-59 on Monday afternoon.

The Birmingham Fire and Rescue Department responded to the crash scene around 4:00 PM. The truck driver sustained only minor injuries, according to the authorities. No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the crash.

The truck slid off I-59 South near Roebuck Parkway, potentially due to snowy road conditions. However, authorities have yet to determine the official cause of the crash.
