(Mobile, Alabama – April 15, 2025) — A woman and two men were tragically killed around 9:55 p.m. when a Ford Mustang collided with four motorcycles on Highway 158 near Wilmer Georgetown Road in Mobile, AL.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), 21-year-old Elizabeth Hearn of Bolton, Mississippi, 39-year-old Kristopher Dotson of Prichard, AL; and 39-year-old Marcine Crawford, Jr., a Mobile Firefighter, died at the scene of the crash.

Kevin Nettles of Loxley, who was riding motorcycles with Dotson and Crawford survived the crash but suffered severe injuries.

Nettles, Dotson, and Crawford were motorcyclists with the riding group Skreet Runnaz.

Wade Thornhill of Clinton, Mississippi, who was driving the Mustang, suffered critical injuries. Hearn was a passenger in the vehicle.

Mobile Fire Chief Johnny Morris, Jr. said the following about Crawford:

“Marcine love the fire service and had a heart to serve. He enjoyed mentorship and teamwork and the satisfaction of seeing things through.”

Hundreds of firefighters and others turned out at Cottage Hill Baptist Church to pay their respects to Crawford, who was a respected member of the Mobile community.

Dotson’s death is also a huge loss, and he will be remembered as a loving family member. According to his cousin, “he was just a great person. You could always count on him, he loved kids. He supported his son and everybody in the family. He was always there. He was just the kind of dependable brother that you could always count on.
