(Marengo County, Alabama – January 10, 2025) — A 72 year-old man from Demopolis was tragically killed Thursday morning by a Mack tractor trailer in Marengo County, AL.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a 2016 GMC Sierra truck driven by David R. Freeman was struck by a 2019 Mack semi-truck on Alabama Highway 28. The crash occured 4 miles from Linden, AL.
An unindentified man from Thomasville, Alabama was driving the tractor trailer. Mr. Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The Alabama state troopers continue to investigate the crash.
