(Lawrence County, Alabama -October 8, 2024) — On Monday, a man from Tuscumbia was tragically killed on Alabama 20 near Lawrence County 273.

According to the Alabama Law Enforecement Agency (ALEA), Cedrick Garrett, 42, died after he was hit by a dump truck while crossing the road around 6 a.m.

The Alabama State Troopers are investigating the incident.
