(Birmingham, Alabama July 14, 2022) — Late Wednesday night on Highway 280, a 41-year-old woman from Sylacauga was tragically killed in a two vehicle crash.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the victim was the driver of a red Chevrolet Cavalier traveling east on US Highway 280 when she was involved in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Grandview Parkway. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Birmingham police department are investigating the crash. No further details has been released.
