(Lawrence County, Alabama – July 26, 2024) — A wreck involving a Camry and semi-truck tragically claimed the life of a 14-year-old from Russellville, AL.

According toALEA, the crash happened on Alabama State Route 24 near Moulton when a 2012 Camry LE was struck by a 2021 Freightliner tractor-trailer.

The 14-year-old was a passenger in the Camry. The driver of the Camry and a second minor passenger were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The ALEA is investigating the crash but has not provided more details.
