(Gadsden, Alabama, October 26, 2021)–Two women tragically died in a two vehicle car wreck in Gadsden, Alabama on Saturday October 23, 2021 around 1:00 AM. The collision occurred on U.S. Highway 411 near Moragne Avenue involving a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze and a 2016 Corvette. Towanna Williams and Monica Garrett, both from Gadsden, AL, were pronounced dead at the scene. Williams and Garrett were in the same vehicle. Two people in the other vehicle were injured and taken to the local hospital by paramedics. The Gadsden Police Department responded to the crash and is currently investigating.
