(Springville, Alabama October 6, 2022) — According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), 29-year-old Sean D. McKnight, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, tragically died when the 2022 International box truck he was driving crossed the median of the interstate and collided head-on with a Freightliner tractor-trailer.
The crash happened on Wednesday just after 4:00 a.m. about two miles south of Springville. McKnight was pronounced deceased at the scene.
ALEA continues to investigate the crash.
