(Montgomery, AL, August 18, 2021) — A two-vehicle collision on Birmingham Highway left one man dead.
Police reported the death of 84-year-old Union Springs resident Joe Caldwell in a car accident in Montgomery, AL.
Around 4:30 PM, Caldwell’s Dodge Caravan collided with a Volvo near Trinity Road.
The Montgomery police transported Caldwell to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The police have not identified the Volvo driver; they did report that the driver didn’t sustain injuries in the collision.
Montgomery police continue to investigate the Joe Caldwell car accident.
