(Morgan County, Alabama July 26, 2022) — On Sunday evening March 24, 2022, a 48-year old man from Lacey Springs tragically died when his motorcycle collided with a truck on Kennamer Road off Highway 231.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s office responded to the crash and reported that the motorcyclist was James Russell Lasater. According to authorities, Lasater was driving a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which struck a 2014 Ford F-150 also driven by a man from Lacey Springs.

The crash occurred two miles south of Lacey Springs, AL.
