(Tuscaloosa Alabama December 31, 2021) — On Thursday, December 30, 2021, a mother and son were tragically killed in a two vehicle car accident in Tuscaloosa.

The victims have been identified as Bessie Lee Cameron, 67, and her son 51-year-old Troy Lee Cameron. Both lived in Tuscaloosa County.

The crash occurred when Cameron was headed eastbound on 15th street in her Nissan Versa and made a U-turn in front of a Dodge Charger that was traveling west on 15th street.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department is investigating the crash.
