(Marshall County, Alabama November 8, 2021) — On Saturday evening, November 6, 2021, Ellis James Oliver, 65, of Crossville, AL was fatally injured when the 2005 Dodge Ram he was driving struck a 2006 Ford Escape driven by Carol Eden Vanhanxleden, 67, of Section, AL. The crash happened on Alabama Highway 75 near Gray Road, approximately two miles north of Albertville, AL.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (“ALEA”), Oliver was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. ALEA is currently investigating the crash.
