(Pell City, Alabama January 7, 2022) – On Thursday evening, January 6, 2022, 55-year old Jimmy Rich of Riverside, Alabama tragically died after another vehicle crossed the center line on Cogswell Avenue and struck Rich’s SUV.
According to Pell City Police Department, the accident happened before 6:30 p.m. off Cogswell Avenue in Pell City. Rich was taken to St Vincents St Clair Hospital where he passed away.
The driver in the other vehicle was taken to UAB Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and two juveniles were taken to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. Their names and condition remain unknown
