(St. Clair County, Alabama December 9, 2022) — On Monday evening, March 7th, Tanner Carleton from Pell City was tragically killed while setting up for St. Clair Cattleman’s Association Rodeo. Carleton was a fifth-grader at Williams Intermediate School in Pell City.

According to Coroner Dennis Russell, Carleton was helping to move metal gates when multiple gates fell on him. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Odenville Police Department continues to investigate the accident.
