(Birmingham, Alabama – January 16, 2025) — A 4 year-old girl from Andalusia, AL was tragically killed Sunday evening in a two vehicle crash.
According to the Alabama Law Enforecement Agency, the crash happened on Alabama 55 near Andalusia when the child’s family’s 2017 Chevy Equinox collided with a 2018 Chevy Silverado.
The child, Everly Nixon, was airlifted to a local hospital and later died. Fortunately, Everly’s siblings did not suffer life threatening injuries.
Everly’s mother, 34-year-old Catherine Grace Nixon, was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. The driver of the Silverado was also critically injured.
The Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
Everly was a beloved member of the Alabama pageant communty. A Go Fund Me page has been created to help Everly’s family after her death and their injuries. We ask anyone who can financially help to please donate.
