(Montgomery, Alabama – October 15, 2024) — A dump truck driver from Union Springs was tragically killed in collision with a tractor trailer on Monday morning.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, the crash happened when a dump truck driven by Richard Ward collided with a Peterbilt 18-wheeler on Selma Highway near Alatex Road.

Mr. Ward, 69, died shortly after the crash.

The Montgomery PD is still investigating the crash.
