(Atlanta, Georgia – Auguat 2, 2024) — A 24-year-old man was shot to death at the Westmar Lofts student housing complex near Georgia State and Georgia Tech.

According to the Atlanta PD, the victim is Donato Bradford II. He was a resident of the proeprty. The officers found Mr. Bradford dead from a gun shot when when they arrived at the scene.

Information about the shooter or how the shooting went down has not been released.

Other shootings have occured at Westmar Lofts in the past. In fact, multiple shootings have occured in recent years.

Most recently, a man was shot multiple times in May 2023. In 2017, an 18-year-old woman was shot in the face.

Hopefully, the apartment complex will get adequate security to keep the residents and guests safe.
