(Talladega, Alabama – June 23, 2024) — A 17-year old boy was tragically killed when he was shot at an apartment complex in Talladega.

According to the Talladega Police Department, officers responded to a shooting at the Sunrise Apartments on Broadway Avenue.

When they arrived the victim was suffering from a single gun shot wound. The policeofficers attempted first aid but the victim tragically died at the scene.

The Talladega PD is still investigating the case and looking for the shooter.
