(Lawrence County, Alabama July 2, 2022) – On Friday morning, July 2, 2022, a man from Tennessee was tragically killed after his vehicle struck a tractor trailer on Alabama Highway 20 near Courtland, Alabama.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Scott M. Berry, 52, of Cypress Inn, TN was driving a 2017 Dodge Ram when he struck a 2021 Hino tractor-trailer.
Berry was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer, who had been carrying propane, was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
ALEA continues to investigate the crash.
