(Madison County, Alabama November 14, 2021) — On Sunday morning, November 14, 2021, Junior R. Melson was fatally injured when the 1997 Ford Ranger pickup he was driving collided head-on with a 2021 Jeep Compass driven by Shreei Sears, 39, of Decatur. The crash occurred at 7:00 a.m. on East Upper River Road just four miles east of Priceville, Alabama.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (“ALEA”), Melson was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. ALEA is currently investigating the crash. No further information is known at this time.
