(Fulton County, Georgia – June 26, 2024) — A father and daughter were tragically killed after they were shot at Freedom Park apartments on Delano Road.

The victims have been identified as Stanley and Heather Neely. According to South Fulton Police Chief Keith Meadows, the shooter opened fire after arguing with Mr. Neely about purchasing his vehicle.

The victim’s family said the Freedom Park apartments is known for violence. Unbelievably, another family member was shot two years ago. Just last month, a 30 year-old man was killed at the aparments during a fight.

The family is asking the authorities to shut down the apartments “for lack of providing security and a safe environment for other people and their children.”

Hopefully, the apartment complex will get adequate security to keep the residents and guest safe.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of the victims of this horrible shooting.
